Policy Field: Education
Project Details: Information Literacy
The Ontario Library Association (OLA) is the oldest continually operating non-profit library association in Canada. They provide the chance for library staff and supporters to share experience and expertise while creating innovative solutions in a rapidly changing environment.
Their mission is to empower members within library and information service fields to build informed, participatory, and inclusive communities.
OLA’s advocacy approach focuses on demonstrating the value of libraries and influencing public policy.
PGI Consultants will participate in the production and presentation of a series of deliverables ( primary research design and data collection, OLA Conference Presentation and White Paper) researching the impacts of school libraries on information literacy (IL) skills and K-12 student competencies.
