The Business/Higher Education Roundtable (BHER) represents many of Canada’s largest companies and leading post-secondary institutions.
Canada has lacked a coordinated strategy to strengthen the cooperation between Canadian employers and educators.
BHER aims to fill this gap by harnessing the strengths of Canada’s top businesses, universities and colleges to deepen collaboration and improve opportunities for young Canadians.
BHER believes that Canadian-led research drives innovation, strengthens the economy and improves the quality of life for all Canadians. By building bridges and partnerships between post-secondary institutions and the private sector, the rate at which new technologies, ideas and medicines go from idea to reality increases.
PGI Consultants will undertake a research project exploring the education-private partnership landscape in Canada and develop policy recommendations to strengthen these relationships.
